Stratosfear is an electronic music album released in 1976 by the German group Tangerine Dream. It marks the beginning of the band's evolution away from their uncompromising early 1970s synthesizer experiments toward a recognizably more melodic sound, a trend they would pick up again in 1979's Force Majeure. The title track "Stratosfear" has been played live many times and has been released in a re-mixed form on a number of other albums.
Stratosfear combines Tangerine Dream's acoustic and electronic influences tighter than before. For instance, at the end of the last track, "Invisible Limits", the deep piano-cum-flute tune reveals the album's romantic flavour even after the earlier predominantly synthetic compositions (tracks #1 to last part of track #4).

More Than Alot does not simply contain a fistful of explosive D'n'B hits for you to bounce around to: it is far more adventurous in its scope and vision. The album includes intelligent, liquid forms of the genre, a smash hip-hop hit and even some well-seasoned dubstep treats. After the gentle introduction of 'Can’t Get Enough', the thrillingly satirical 'Music Club' judders out of the darkness at a sickening pace with horns blaring. It is incredible that this is followed by 'Against All Odds', and thankfully, it has nothing to do with Phil Collins, as C & S sample the Incredible Bongo Band’s 'Apache' break and recruit London’s emcee Kano into the mix; this, for me, means that C & S have created the UK hip-hop smash of the year.

Rather than attempting to capture the pandemonium of a night in the Sub Club, the DJs have chosen to create an album which celebrates the eclecticism and the liberated attitude that has given the club such longevity.

It's also not so easy to reach her on the phone." Reciprocally, Gerrard said: "I know Klaus Schulze since Tangerine Dream. He is amazing, I mean, his work is sympathetic to a soul journey and has been for such a period of time."

1991's LSD is commonly referred to as Coil's House record. Other styles are featured, but the album as a whole leaves no doubt that Coil had left their industrial days a little further behind. LSD is consistently cited by fans as Coil's "best" album, and with good reason. It is very dancy with moments of trance, house, goth ("Titan Arch"), classical guitars, live drums, electronics and guest vocals by Marc Almond (ex-Soft Cell, on the aforementioned "Titan Arch"), and Annie Anxiety (the drunken "Things Happen").

Idolum is a crushing work of sludge absolutely drenched in heavy psychedelia. “Stigma” opens with a pounding, unrelenting riff peppered with swirls of effected samples and swirling noises followed by an even more crushing riff. This is a very dense listen. Even on the fifth or sixth pass, new things bubble to the surface. One thing that this release gives us that has been absent on previous Ufomammut releases is simply melody. There are more hooks and memorable parts on Idolum than on previous releases. That is not to say that the band has softened their attack in the least. If anything, the melody just provides an excellent counterbalance to the merciless pounding that ensues.
